Regarding hotels, the standard of each one was very high but what was even more impressive was the position of each in its town or city – right in the heart of everything! This made shopping and free time choices so simple to navigate. Lew was always ready and willing to make interesting suggestions for things to do in our free time. These times were allocated perfectly too – generally coming after busy periods when a little down time would be appreciated. The small number of free periods was ideal as we were all there to experience and learn about the culture, lifestyle and history of a new continent and this is definitely best achieved through the vast knowledge of Lew and his carefully selected specialist guides.
